At Golden Bay Holiday Park, we aim to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for
everyone. Our simple, considerate guidelines help ensure your stay is relaxing and hassle-
free:
Arrival & Departure
Check-in begins from 2 pm, and we kindly ask that all guests vacate their sites by 10 am on
departure day—this helps keep turnaround smooth for everyone.
Quiet and courtesy hours
To maintain a calm and peaceful environment, we ask that noise levels be minimal between
10 pm and 8 am, including soft voices and respectful vehicle movements
Visitors
During our peak season (December, January, and February), this camp is exclusively for
paying guests only. At all other times, visitors are welcome in the park but must leave by
8:00 p.m. They should report to the office on arrival and park in the overflow parking area.
Your visitors are your responsibility.
Bikes
We encourage biking as a fun and eco-friendly way to get around the park. For everyone’s
safety, helmets are compulsory for riders of all ages. Please ride slowly and respectfully,
especially near children and shared spaces, children have right of way. Park bikes
considerately when not in use.
Vehicles & Camp parking
Speed in the campsite is walking pace, each campsite accommodates one vehicle, keep the
pathways unobstructed for campers and emergency access
Pets
We welcome well-behaved dogs outside of the busy holiday season (through prior
arrangement). Dogs should stay on-leash, be kept out of communal buildings, and waste
responsibly picked up. During peak times (Dec 1–March 1), our park becomes dog-free to
protect local wildlife and ensure enjoyment for all
Waste & Camp facilities
Please use our onsite rubbish, recycling, and greywater stations. For campervans, we offer
convenient dump station access. Wet wipes are not permitted in our dump stations.
Vehicle compliance
All caravans, campervans, and motorhomes must hold a current electrical WOF, and tents
using power should plug into an approved transformer or circuit breaker.
Recreational equipment & drones
For the enjoyment and safety of all, please ask for permission before flying drones or using
microlight devices—these are restricted across the park to protect wildlife and neighbours
Behaviour & Camp safety
We trust our guests to act responsibly. No fireworks, please. Fires on the beach are by
permit only, obtained from the office. Please treat communal facilities with care, and let our
friendly team know if you need any assistance. Any behaviour that significantly disturbs
others may lead to a quiet reminder – or in rare cases, dismissal without refund.
